Paul asks…
Why is it that when you go to the cash for clunkers website….?
When you log in to “Cash for Clunkers” website you have consented without consent to
“Any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed to authorized CARS, DoT, and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign.”

Simple, the current administration has a goal to increase the control of the government over all aspects of life, of the legal residents of this country.
However, the program is going to be scraped due to cost. The current administration is going to spend money until this nation is broke and then sell the debt to the highest bidder. It, is selling this nation down the river and will ultimately destroy it.
If people are foolish enough to believe that he has done a single thing to save this economy, then they need to stop doing drugs.
The only reason that Wall street has started to turn around is a result of millions of legal residents of this country losing their jobs. Companies are once again starting to generate profits as their expenses have been drastically reduced in the mass layoffs that have taken place over the past 18 months.

“Cash for Clunkers” website?
Has any one gone to the governments cash for clunkers website and reviewed the disclaimer posted there? By agreeing to the terms of set
by the government, your computer will be come property of the government and any information contained on the computer can and will be used at the discretion of bho and his gang. Another example of Big Brother attempting to control the citizens of our country by eliminating our liberties and freedoms..

That provision, in so much as it exists, applies ONLY to the auto dealers who are logging in to submit the info for the rebates.
It’s a pretty standard disclaimer for those outside the government who connect online to a Federal agency to transact business. The intent is to combat fraud and (to a lesser extent) malicious hacking attacks on the system – not to take over the world.
Look, the US government *created and owns* the Internet. It controls the vast majority of every byte that flows through it. They sure as heck don’t need your permission to infiltrate your PC – and they definately wouldn’t warn you that they were doing it!

Charles asks…
Can This Happen If You Use a Government Website?
http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/031514.html
I just received this today. Apparently, if you log onto this Gov’t Website for Cash for Clunkers, the government can take over your computer forever?!? I haven’t read about this anywhere yet. It seems pretty outrageous!! Is it true?
CSC101 Customer Service answers:
Yes, it can happen. In fact, YOU are giving them
permission to do it when you go on the website
and click “I agree” to the terms.
The fact is, all computer software makers are
required to put ‘back door’ access points to allow
government access to your computer anyway.
If you are connected to the internet, all your
files are visible to anyone who has the authority
to gain access. There is nothing you can do about it.
